Beating Time was a fundraising musical show, staged in
the summer of 1999 with minimal rehearsal. Originally conceived by Neil Roberts
and Dik Thacker, friends from neighbouring Musical Societies and Gang Shows came
together to raise the money to buy a new digital piano. Since its purchase it
has been extensively used for Pantomime, Musicals and further fund-raising
shows, both within and outside the Talisman.
